Giao was so patient and kind with me! I had never had a tattoo before and my anxiety was through the roof. She assured me that the numbing cream she uses is really good and it was, barely felt a thing. Then Giao mapped out my brows and the shape was beautifully done. I love the fuller look. I admit, my anxiety crept back in, again not ever having a brow tattoo before, the day after seeing the darkening of the pigmentation. Once again, Giao calmed my nerves and encouraged me to trust the process. I'm 2 days post nano brow and need to be patient with the healing process. I spent years researching where to get my eyebrows done and debating if I was going to take the leap. I FINALLY came across BareBlend PMU and it caught my attention, during consultation scheduling with Giao, I felt comfortable. This was my first time and on my appointment I was nervous yet anxious, told her never had my eyebrows done like this, Giao was such a pleasant, warmth n welcoming, her studio was so cozy and relaxing. I cant say enough good things about my experience with Giao. I have grown up my whole life with people making fun of the fact that I dont have eyebrows. I've always wanted to try microblading but never found anyone I was comfortable with. Im not one to wear a ton of makeup and over the years I still haven't gotten very good at filling my eyebrows in. I met Giao through our kids going to school together and this fall she told me that she does microblading and other services. I booked with her immediately. The technician did a great job, she was very methodical and professional with the sanitation procedure. I did not experience any pain and the process was very comfortable. I had my brows and lip cosmetic tattoo from her and it was important to me that the result must be seamless and subtle. She gave me great recommendations on what color to pick for the look I want and it turned out way better than had anticipated. The tattoos are clean, and blend in seamlessly with my brows. I love it! All of my friends told me that the tattoos are so natural that they thought they were mine all along.
I followed the after care packages as instructed, and avoid letting foods and drinks touching my lips, and only dabled the lips with a slightly moist clean paper towel only afterwards. I also reapply the moiturizer packages regularly. The tattoo healed within 4 days and my lips have never been better. Thanks Giao! You're the best!

1Where are you located?
My studio is located at 2921 SE 73rd Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97123. Please note that I am located inside Catalina.
2Is it truly "permanent"?
While the pigments remain in the dermis for a long time, they are technically semi-permanent as they will fade over time. Most procedures last between 2 to 5 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and the specific technique used.
3Does the procedure hurt?
Client comfort is our priority. We apply a highly effective topical anesthetic before and during the procedure to minimize discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratching or vibrating feeling.
4How long does an appointment take?
Depending on the service (Brows, Lips, or Eyeliner), an initial session usually takes between 2 to 3 hours. This includes a detailed consultation, brow mapping/shaping, and the pigmentation process itself.
5Is it safe?
Absolutely. We adhere to the strictest sanitation protocols. All needles are single-use, sterile, and disposable. Our pigments are medical-grade, vegan-friendly, and meet international safety standards.
6Which one lasts longer? Ombre or Nano
Ombre generally has better retention, but there's a benefit to pigments fading. Since our facial structure naturally shifts and skin tends to sag over time, we don't want the ink to stay forever. In 3 to 5 years, we’ll have the flexibility to redesign and lift your brow shape to keep you looking youthful as your skin changes.
7How should I prepare for my appointment?
To ensure the best results and minimal bleeding, please avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications (like Aspirin or Ibuprofen) for at least 24–48 hours before your session. You should also discontinue use of Retinol or AHAs near the treatment area for one week prior.
8What is the "Healing Phase"?
Immediately after the procedure, the color will appear significantly darker and sharper. Over the next 7–10 days, the area will undergo mild flaking. Once the surface skin heals, the color will soften and lighten by about 30–50%, revealing the final, natural-looking result.
9Can I exercise after the treatment?
We recommend avoiding heavy sweating, saunas, and swimming for at least 7–10 days post-procedure. Sweat contains salt which can prematurely pull the pigment out of the skin.
10Why do I need a "Touch-Up" session?
PMU is a two-step process. The initial session sets the foundation, while the Perfecting Session (usually 6–8 weeks later) allows us to fill in any areas that may have faded during healing and adjust the color or shape for a flawless finish.
11Who is NOT a candidate for PMU?
We generally advise against PMU for individuals who are pregnant or nursing, those with active skin infections in the area, or clients undergoing chemotherapy. If you have a pre-existing medical condition, please consult with your physician before booking.
